Stephan is a graduate from Eindhoven University of Technology. He started his career at DSM (Geleen, Netherlands) in 1991 within R&D, where he was in charge of polymer research programmes for various business units. In his next assignment, he became responsible for technical marketing and application development of ABS (blends) and automotive polymers. This enable him to work with DSM customers across Europe and Asia. In 2004, he entered the commercial arena and was appointed General Sales & Product Manager STAMAX within SABIC Automotive POlymers. After this he was a Business Manager responsible for SABIC's PP random copolymer business. As from early 2010, he is working with SABIC's major customers in the segment of caps & closures, aiming to realise the strong growth ambitions of SABIC in this field.
