Claude graduated in chemistry from I' Insa-Lyon and completed his Ph.D. thesis in polymer science. He has 17 years of R&D experience in emulsion and suspension polymers and processes. He has spent the last 13 years in polymer product stewardship and regulatory affairs working for BP and then Innovene and now for Ineos Polyolefins.

For more than 13 years, he has been very much involved in Plastics Europe activities and is now Chairman of the Food Contact Committee.  He is also active in the area of plastics materials in contact with drinking water. He is a member of the Plastics Europe-Teppfa working group and Chaiman of the mathematical modelling task force.
